About Beyond Dining Company
Founded in June 2019, Beyond Dining Company is Chef Raji’s vision, wherein she experiments with different food cuisines and cultural themes to create a unique blend of dining experience that leaves a good first impression in the minds of her guests.
As the name suggests, the company thinks beyond the usual aspects of dining, planning menu, creating a mood with tablescaping and floral décor. The primary aim is to create happy & meaningful memories as friends & loved ones come together to share an authentic meal, prepared home-style with simplicity and peppered with love.
The entire concept was curated based on the Chef’s extensive travel experiences and revolve around curating, creating, and serving a dining experience that surpasses all expectations.
Apart from being a Director of “Beyond Dining Co” & “Gather & Gobble”, Chef Raji is also a Co-Director at her family-owned company “Holy Basil Consultancy”. Currently, Chef Raji operates from her beautiful and artistically created Tuscan Kitchen Studio, wherein she strives to deliver surprises for all the five senses through a scrumptious gastronomic experience.
About Chef Raji
Beyond Dining Co is a brainchild of Chef Raji Gupta, a renowned Mumbai-based home chef who trained at the prestigious “Palate Culinary Academy”, Mumbai. She associates her fondest memories of food with her mother and aunts, who inspired her to take her love for food beyond her own dining table.
It is this passion for the culinary world that led her to be professionally trained in some of the finest institutes and under the tutelage of culinary luminaries such as Chef Darina Allen and Chef Rachel Allen from “Ballymaloe Cookery School”, Ireland, wherein they focus on ‘Sustainable Food Style’ at a 100 acres of an organic farm.
Her culinary skills also include ‘Oriental Cooking,’ which she learned at the “Blue Elephant Cookery School”, Thailand under Chef Nooror. She was also an apprentice at “Rosalind Miller Cake School”, London and “Le Cordon Blue”, London, wherein she learned the intricate art of ‘Cake Decorating,’ a skill that requires a high level of precision, patience and perseverance.
In her own words, she is ‘A Bon Vivant’ – who eats, prays and loves to cook.
And before Chef Raji decided to begin her journey with Beyond Dining Co, she worked with several food brands and at the renowned magazine “BBC GOOD FOOD India” as an Executive Editor.
